Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Grading Hunt.

Why did you build Grading Hunt?

I constantly found myself jotting down the raw price and PSA 10 price of some cards and calculating them. I found a way to automate this process and build a tool which greatly saved my time, I thought many people can also benefit from this when grading Pokemon cards.

How does Grading Hunt work?

Grading Hunt scans market data to cross-reference raw card prices against recent PSA 10 sales, factoring in grading fees to pinpoint high-potential targets.

What is ROG?

ROG stands for Return on Grading. It is: ((PSA 10 price - (raw price + grading fee)) / total investment) x 100. A higher ROG means more profit potential after grading costs.

What is the default grading fee used for ROG calculation?

It is at $20 per card to match PSA's standard value tier.

Is it free to use?

Yes, completely free. Grading Hunt is built to provide a hassle-free experience for the grading community — no subscriptions, no paywalls.

Is Grading Hunt affiliated with Pokémon?

No. Grading Hunt is an unofficial tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by Pokémon, Nintendo, The Pokémon Company International, PSA, CGC, or any grading company.

How often is price data updated?

Raw card prices and PSA 10 sale prices are updated regularly and ROG scores recalculated on the same weekly cycle.

Can I suggest a feature?

Yes - please use the Feedback page in the app or email [email protected].

Do you plan to release more features?

Yes. I am actively working on updates to improve the tool and hope to grow a small community around it over the coming years.
