Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why did you build Grading Hunt?
I constantly found myself jotting down the raw price and PSA 10 price of some cards and calculating them. I found a way to automate this process and build a tool which greatly saved my time, I thought many people can also benefit from this when grading Pokemon cards.
4. Is it free?
Yes, for now.
3. How does Grading Hunt work?
Grading Hunt analyses market data to identify Pokémon cards with the highest potential Return on Grading (RoG). Users can browse these cards and view detailed information to make informed decisions.
2. Why are there only 4 eras, being the 4 most recent eras?
Put simply, there is much more data available around modern sets, many more online sales for them. Also, I think finding a vintage card which is in good enough condition to grade at PSA 10 in 2025 is very rare whereas there are many opportunities to do this with modern cards.
6. How often is the data updated?
The data on Grading Hunt is updated weekly to ensure accuracy.
7. Do you plan to release more features in the future?
Yes. I aim to build a small community around Pokemon grading and improve this product greatly over the coming years.
